Eltham Lower Park is a popular spot for families, friends, and pets. The park features a playground with slides, swings, a flying fox, and more, all surrounded by trees. There are BBQ facilities, picnic tables, a large sports oval, and an off-leash dog park. You can also enjoy a miniature train ride, pony rides, or on weekends watch cricket. It's situated near the Diamond Creek and Yarra River, with walking trails, bike paths, and connections to the Main Yarra Trail.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
